Our Pastor, Dr. Myron A. McIntyre, likes to say that we are “Standing for the Old-Time
Religion.” As such, he emphasizes the Biblical truths of salvation, soul winning, and holy
living. Pastor McIntyre seeks to preach and teach the life-changing truths of the Bible
in a down-to-earth, straightforward, and practical manner. He desires to see children and
adults saved and transformed by the power of God. His vision for FIBC is a unified group
of Christians growing in their day-to-day walk with God and learning to serve God according
to their spiritual gifts.
Pastor McIntyre was saved and called into the ministry at a young age. He has been
preaching for over 25 years. Pastor and his wife Mary, are graduates of Bible college and
have spent their lives around and involved in "local churches." In addition to homeschooling
their children, Mary plays the piano for many of the church services, coordinates the Ladies'
ministry, and works in many other ministries of the church. Pastor and Mary have three young
children and are very devoted to raising them to love the Lord. One of their favorite activities
to do as a family is camping and having fun enjoying God's creation. Just as Pastor and
Mary care for their own family, they also care deeply for the FIBC church family and are
excited about what God is doing through FIBC. They invite you to be a part of the growth
